Mr. Muñoz

WELCOME Human Anatomy and Physiology students!

Hello and welcome to Honors Human Anatomy and Physiology, you have chosen to take this course for the 2016-2017 academic year. This is a senior only course and students are expected to bring a positive outlook, remain engaged, and be an active learner in all Human Anatomy and Physiology labs and activities.

The Human Anatomy and Physiology course is designed to cover the entire human body and we will also dissect invertebrate and vertebrate animals for comparative purposes. Please make sure you are comfortable with the dissection of animals and are motivated to learn about the amazing Physiology of the human body.

Labs this year will include: heart, brain, bovine eye, rat, and cat dissections.

My goal is to prepare every committed student to succeed and increase your efficacy for gross anatomy lab practicums and written exams that will prepare you for our field trip to the College of Chiropractic Medicine. Here students will observe human cadavers being dissected by actual medical students who are on their way to being health providers. This field trip will take place on December 7, 2016 and is optional or not a required part of the course.

Congratulations on joining, I look forward to meeting you again or for the first time on August 18, 2016.

Sincerely, Mr. Munoz
